Petoskey Youth Soccer Association is a youth travel soccer club focused on development through the younger ages and moving to a premier level as teams grow.
MEMBERSHIP
Our registration follows the school year, it starts with the Fall season and ends with the Spring season. Registration includes both the fall and spring seasons (two nights of practice, weekend friendly games, and 2 Petoskey Tournaments, June and September, as allowed). We offer one night a week optional winter training.
**In the event a roster is at a maximum, interested parties may still participate as a training-only member of the team but may not be eligible to participate in games or tournaments.
EXPECTATIONS
• To keep costs reasonable, we expect volunteer participation which includes a season work bee, a tournament work bee, and one short shift at each tournament per player.
• Players and parents will read and abide by the
codes of conduct and policies & procedures.
• We will need medical release and concussion forms filled out and turned into your manager before practice begins.
• A photo of the player (passport style/head shot) to complete the player pass cards.
GAMES & TOURNAMENTS
All of our teams participate in weekend friendlies games as part of the local travel league, Northern Michigan Soccer Alliance (NMSA). Girls play 2 games on Saturdays and boys play 2 games on Sundays. Our teams participate in our Autumn Blast the weekend after labor day in September and we end the Spring season with our home tournament the Fresh Coast Classic the first weekend in June.
